Deborah here with some happier news — Joe’s step-daughter is engaged! We are all so grateful that is awake and alert and can share their joy.

It was a tough day for Joe, he had to have all his lines and port removed as his blood was growing fungus. (apparently plastic attracts that stuff). Having the port removed is a pain, it makes getting IV medication a lot harder.
