Greetings from lockdown in San Rafael! I just wanted to write a quick post thanking everyone SO SO MUCH for your donations to COTA in my honor! I am so grateful and appreciate all your support and well wishes. I hope everyone is doing OK during this crisis. Lung transplants are still happening at UCSF, albeit with tons of extra precautions. Donors and recipients are both being tested for COVID 19 before any surgery happens, and visitors are limited. I’m thankful that UCSF has not been overwhelmed by coronavirus cases; I’m very lucky to live so close to such a good hospital.
