Today has been very challenging for Kadence, the fatigue ravished him, forcing alot of breaks walking through Children’s Mercy Hospital. Kadence had several tests and appointments starting at 8am til 4:30pm. He thought fasting for 8 hours prior to the day would be the biggest challenge but starting the day with an allergic reaction to ultrasound gel, requiring Benadryl provide him wrong.

How Kadence pushes through and gets through days that seem to never end always amaze me. It’s his faith that strengthens me to do whatever I can to ease the stress and strain, while God gives him exactly what he needs.

On this day Kadence beat high blood pressure and fatigue, he credits his faith that the Lord went through worse for him. I think with that mindset and the promise of breakfast at Snooze, he was willing to press on.

It turns out dehydration also played apart and Kadence ended up staying home on Tuesday the 30th to continue recovering.
