Some news is easier to share than others, today is no exception. Last Friday the 13th, Kadence met with the Dialysis team that is taking over his care while he is on Dialysis. They are an incredible group of professionals that love each kiddos they care for but the news was extremely emotional and difficult to hear.
Kadence will get through this, it’s just difficult to hear this is life until his kidney transplant. When I think back to 16, the restrictions alone would have devastated me. I try to remember that and give Kadence all the encouragement I can without uttering those words.

Please continue to keep Kadence and our family in your prayers. They are felt and appreciated.

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7am to 12pm we will make the Dialysis Center at CMH home. If you know us, you know there will be jokes, music, laughter and a lot of hugs. There will NOT be a pity party. Yes, this stinks but it can always be worse.
