Today we had our monthly clinic visit with Keller’s nephrologist. We did our labs and talked about our next steps. Obviously we want Keller to keep growing, to get taller and stronger, but he is finally at the minimum weight for a kidney transplant! He weighed in at 10.250 kilograms this morning.

WHAT A HUGE DEAL!!!

We are so grateful!! Keller has been working hard for this. We will be speaking to the transplant coordinator hopefully soon to get the ball rolling. This is just the first step in the biggest journey of our lives, but we are so grateful and so excited!!! It feels like every moment the past almost 3 years (including my pregnancy) we have been waiting for this moment!

Keller has had a big week, taking his first steps and getting referred for transplant!
