We are still moving forward with transplant. It’s a long process, but I’ll update with any changes. The doctor was hopeful that his creatinine would improve, but it at where it is. This means that he is at 25% kidney function, which is stage 4 kidney failure.
We have appointments with Neuropsych and an ophthalmologist. His genetics doctor had some suggestions to see them because there were other findings with his genetic testing. Just want to make sure we have a handle on all of it.
His doctors continue to be great and supportive, his teachers think he is great and sent him a gift this week. The biggest problem we are working on is kids. There aren’t a lot of kids in my neighborhood, he’s attending school virtually, so talking and cutting up in class isn’t really a thing right now. We go swimming multiple times a week and see kids then. I just can’t fill the void of his Tennessee friends. Im not his big brother. We still play and create, but it’s not the same.
We had a pretty good Halloween!
