Krew was discharged from PICU on Friday, March 28th and enjoyed his first meal that morning. PANCAKES AND BACON! Since then, Krew is progressing very well and has all monitors and IVs removed except his pick line. The pick line will stay in until his is discharged. Doctors are continuing to tweak medication as needed, to make sure the new liver is fully supplied. Krew is a tough little boy and is managing his pain with Tylenol! We are hopeful to be discharged at the end of this week but, this is a day by day process! It takes multiple good days in a row to get out of here! Hospital life is hard but Krew is eager to be on his own! He is playing, walking, riding in his car, and giving out fist bumps left and right! Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy are very impressed with how active and tolerant of pain he is.
Thank you for the continued prayers. ![]()
