Hello

Hi! Sorry for not publishing blog posts lately. I’ve been very busy with online school and taking care of my new puppy, Jamie.

We got Jamie in late October and he was just the smallest little thing, but now he is so heavy that I almost can’t pick him up! He’s a mini goldendoodle and we think he might be about 25 pounds when he’s fully grown. He’s actually really funny because as I’m writing this Jamie is barking at me and wanting to play fetch. I hear a “Ruff, Ruff” and I turn around and there’s a toy waiting to be thrown! Sometimes I don’t expect him to bark and it makes me jump a little! Jamie steals things a lot and it takes 2-3 people to catch him! In fact, he keeps stealing stuff from the craft bin and we laugh while trying to run around the house (imagine that happening), which slows us down. Eventually, we catch him and we take away whatever he stole. The same thing happens while I’m doing online school. I’ll be working on something and he wants to play.

The snow here in Wapak is CRAZY! We got mostly drifts and I was sledding down the drifts in the yard today. I had a lot to choose from, but my favorite was the one in the front yard. I named it “Drift Fun”. It was like a stage when I stood on it and it was so weird that it was strong enough to hold all of my weight! There were also weak spots where my foot would sink through and tough spots that were more like a stage! I don’t look forward to when the snow melts.

As usual, I hope this blog post finds you well. Stay safe and warm!

Best, Lauren 🙂
