Good evening,
I hope this blog post finds you well. I’m back in school, (unfortunately). But, I am looking forward to Chirstmas break. I did just get back from Thanksgiving break last week. Personally, I prefer Christmas break over Thanksgiving break because in my school, we get one week for Thanksgiving and two weeks for Christmas.
Speaking of school, due to dense fog, I got the day off of school today. I used it by doing some homework and spending some free time with Jamie, and watching TV. I had a piano lesson this afternoon, and voice therapy over teleheath. Other than that, it was a very quiet day.
My heart health is very good and my last heart biopsy showed almost no rejection. It was 1A. I’m hoping to learn the name of my donor soon. However, I’m having some issues with my immue system. I had to start seeing Immunology so they can start improving my immune system without hurting my heart. I see them again soon. We’re hoping they can increase my body’s t-cell production. I’m also seeing Oncology because I caught infectious mono last year which is increasing my Epstein Barr viral levels and is putting me at risk for post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder. Oncology has give me two viral specific t-cell therapies to eradicate the EBV. I see them again on Friday and I might have to do another VST infusion. I also had severe anemia recently and I was hospitalized for four days. Turns out I caught the parvovirus, which causes severe anemia in immunocompromised people. I also have an appt next week with Hematology to check on me because of the anemia.
Have a good evening and stay warm! 🙂
