Post-op Day 12

Leila has had another great day! She has continued to tolerate all her ventilation weans without issue and we are hoping to be back on her home vent by Friday.

Leila’s kidney also continues to do well. Her Foley catheter was removed today and she is peeing without issue!

She has also tolerated having her nasogastric tube clamped most of the day. We will likely remove that in the morning, and then will hopefully start getting some food in her stomach tomorrow!

Overall, Leila has progressed better than anyone expected today. Please pray that she continues on this trajectory.
