Poor Levi caught the nasty cough and fever that’s going around. He spiked a high fever this evening so that bought us a trip to Luries. They did a full viral panal along with some blood cultures. He has tested positive for the parainfluenza (croup) virus. They also think he has an ear infection. They are admitting him and starting some fluids and an antibiotic now. His white blood cells are super low so they’re running some blood cultures too to make sure he doesn’t have some kind of bacterial infection.

It’s almost 1 am and we still don’t have a room upstairs yet but hopefully soon. I’ll update more after morning rounds with the team.
