We are excited to announce that Macy and her living donor Erin have been approved for transplant which will take place on June 7! We feel very blessed that Erin and Macy are still a match despite the 2-year delay in transplant.

They have both been going through all the testing AGAIN and all looks good. Macy just has an ultrasound of her vasculature in her stomach, groin and chest to ensure possible access points and to take a look at her plumbing where they plan to place Erin’s kidney in Macy’s abdomen. They both have pre-op appointments and a final cross-match at the end of May.

I will post later about specific prayer requests, right now we are just celebrating an actual date to look forward to! We were able to celebrate with a mother daughter dinner earlier this week. Feeling blessed that kidney disease has brought us all together.
