It has been a bit of a whirlwind few weeks, but all great things! We are thrilled that Macy was able to finish her senior year strong last week! Managing school and kidney disease, especially the past 3 years, has been difficult, but Macy dug deep and accomplished her goal this year! She is looking forward to pursuing a degree in elementary education or child life.

She also participated in her final dance recital last weekend. What a blessing to watch her dance her heart out on the Turning Pointe Dance stage one last time. She has been dancing at TPD for 13 years and we could not be more grateful for the lessons, friends, and family we have gained from her time there.

Brandon and I couldn’t be more proud.
Transplant is in just two weeks! Macy and Erin both have pre-op appointments in Denver this week which will include a final crossmatch to ensure their blood is still compatible. Macy’s team is still making some decisions around line placement and the plan should she once again experience disease recurrence. Please join us in prayer over all the details and for a negative final crossmatch.
So happy to hear this great news! Will start a prayer chain for Macy and your family.
Praying, praying, praying!!!! Beautiful post! How can we help support you all during these next 2 weeks and then after??? I will hunt you down!
Praying the transplant is successful and both patients heal quickly. Also that Macy is permanently from FSGS after the transplant.
