Update & Concert

After 2 wonderful weeks at home, Mallory was admitted back to the hospital for what we hoped would be her final round of chemo.
This morning we met with her doctors and the results from her last CT scan on Friday shows no change from the previous scan. The expectation to start the final round is that her mass should have been completely resolved at this point and although it has decreased significantly, it still appears to be there.
Our next course of action is a biopsy which will be done tomorrow. If that biopsy is still showing cancer, Mallory will need more aggressive treatment which equates to 4 more rounds of chemo. Our prayer is that what is left of the mass is just scar tissue and we will be able to move forward with her final round of chemo.
Please pray for our girl and our family. The thought of 4 more rounds of aggressive treatment is devastating. Mallory did not handle the news very well but I told her right now we will not think about that until we have the results. Today we are going to pray for scar tissue ????????????????????????
Here are a few pictures from the Eric Church concert that we went to Friday with family and wonderful friends. I love the first shot that was captured of Mallory. It was so good for the soul to see her have so much fun!
