Shakespeare and End of School!

The end of the school year was full of fun Dance and Performance Drama activities for Marlow. The school district had their annual Spring Showcase with students from the two middle schools, showing what they’ve learned throughout the school year. Marlow participated in multiple routines. The last show of the year was a performance of Macbeth, in which Marlow played one of the Witches (see below). For the last field trip of the year, they got to go see Romeo & Juliet at the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival in the Elizabethan Theatre, which is a replica of the Globe!

She ended her 6th grade year, and all three trimesters, on the A-B Honor Roll. We are all so incredibly proud of how she has submersed herself into her education and extracurricular activities. Sometimes the transition from elementary to middle school can be a bit jarring – especially when you’re forced to miss many days, sometimes weeks. But, in true Marlow fashion, did it with grace.
