Thursday Valentine’s Eve and I haven’t posted in a few days because we’ve been busy getting Marshall through his recovery. I’m currently feeling pretty lost and in a perpetual state of unease because Marshall is having such a hard time feeling better. We spoke with the doctors today and are hoping some medication changes can help his tummy feel better and have some sort of appetite. All the things he needs to do to get better feel like an endless list of impossible chores… eating, walking more, and taking piles of pills. There are some things to celebrate, he’s currently only on one IV that is giving him necessary nutrition. And, he is not needing any pain medicine! I am remaining hopeful that he will turn a corner soon and be able to take in some food and have the motivation to do some extra walking.
