Hello, friends of the Rockeys!
As we look back over the last few days, there’s so much to celebrate! Team Miranda sure came through! Joel and the kids got away for a night and two days, which was much needed time together. However, as you can imagine, it was a bit nerve racking making sure that Miranda had enough visitors and people “in the know” for Joel to feel comfortable. And there were! Several came for a visit and reported that it was a joy to see Miranda and interact with her. She was in good spirits and is clearly working so hard to get stronger.
Miranda does have a neurology appointment in Avon tomorrow (Tuesday, the 26th) afternoon. Would you please pray that the neurologist will be able to give Joel and company good answers to their many questions, as well as suggestions of how to help Miranda heal and strengthen the neuro-pathways.in her brain that were affected by her traumatic brain injury? This is a very important appointment, and long awaited!
As mentioned before, Miranda is eager to have company. If you are interested in visiting or have the bandwidth to come on a weekly basis, both are needed and so appreciated. We’ve created a Google doc where you can sign up for a time that works for you. (The previous journal has the visitation info and address of Southpoint, along with important information to read before your visit.)
Thanks for being part of the village! Bless you.
