Dear friends of Miranda and Joel,

If Miranda could speak for herself, she’d likely tell you that her healing isn’t at all a straightforward journey, but a circuitous one! Winding, hidden, indirect, and very unpredictable. Miranda has made good progress some days in terms of speaking, eating (Chick-fil-A!), exercising, etc. Other days, she is more confused, less responsive, and tucked into herself. Please continue to pray for her and Joel as they deal with the unexpected and the up and down. 

The big news is that plans are being made for Miranda to transition to an interim facility on Thursday. This will allow her to receive more therapy and hopefully become stronger and more capable before she returns home. Stay tuned for more info on that. 

It is no small wonder the army of friends and family who serve these dear ones in so many beautiful ways. You belong to the army. So grateful for your care and continued concern and prayers. Bless you.
