Mylin was cleared to go home! Here they are with Daniel’s suitcase, my suitcase, a large suitcase of medical supplies and medication, a backpack full of diabetes care items, a suitcase of all of Mylin’s gifts, and a backpack for each of us.Mylin made it to their first day of school! You would’ve never known that kid was traveling for 12 hours yesterday, or that they were woken up several times during the night for diabetes issues.Mylin went to school with their CGM on their arm, insulin pump on their thigh, and GJ tube hanging out on display, just totally rocking it!Just 6 weeks post surgery! We are starting to see Mylin truly come back. I really can’t say that enough. The incision is healing awesomely.Mylin got their tummy tube taken out. They were so beyond excited to have that thing taken out. The area around the tube had began to grow granulations, started to bleed again, and became extra sensitive, so My was more than ready to say goodbye to it!
