Out of the Hospital & Into the Clown House

The team decided to proceed with discharging us after lunch to the Ronald McDonald House today after delaying it yesterday
I’m sure we’ll have bumps, but I’m hoping they continue to feel better each day
We got some doggie snuggles from the therapy dog
Mylin had a zoo day! There was no way Mylin would be able to physically walk enough to see the zoo, so we planned to rent a wheelchair. Well, they were out of wheelchairs, so Mylin got to drive a “grannie mobile”.
When we stopped for lunch Mylin crashed a bit on me. They fell asleep at the table for 30 minutes and then woke up feeling sick.
Mylin’s incision looked infected yesterday and Nationwide Children’s put us on the books to take a look at it this morning
Reunited! It was so good to see Mylin awake in the morning. They are feeling so much better than when I left!
We decided to spend the afternoon at the Art Museum
My did great at the PT appointment and exceeded all the work they did last week
We went to the state fair and Mylin loved all of the animals. We started the day with the piggy races. Then we did the petting zoo, and walked all of the livestock barns. Mylin was in animal heaven!
