A few days in

Nora has been in the hospital since Thursday.  She has had a rough few days with IV placement and a PICC line, along with a Dopamine drip.  She isn’t tolerating hospital confinement well or procedures so sedations have been part of her care which brings with them the many side effects including hallucination, nausea, vomiting, irritability and over all of not feeling well.  She cried today to go home and it just breaks our hearts.  We know she is where she needs to be but it is difficult to watch.  Especially during times of COVID where only 1 parent is allowed at a time and NO other visitors.  Not myself(her aunt), not her amazing GeeGee or Pap not even her little brother can visit.  Prayers are needed for her to calm her anxiety and give us all the courage we need to get through this challenging time.

Thank you for taking a minute out of your day to read Nora’s story, for donating to COTA and for your prayers.  Please keep us on your prayer list as we move forward.
