Our Story

This is Adryan Joseph Puckett, but we call him AJ. He is small with such a big personality and is so smart and unique.
Our son, along with our daughter Alynnah, is the light of our lives.
AJ was born with Gastroschisis which resulted in short gut syndrome. AJ is 2 years old  and from the time he was born until now it has been a constant fight.
We couldn’t hold AJ until he was over a week old. He had to go to surgery immediately to remove over 90% of his small bowel.
Since then, he has had to endure multiple surgical procedures to help grow his stomach, bowel and colon, to no avail…
Adyran now needs to have a small bowel transplant for his best shot at life. We are hoping his father Joseph Puckett will be able to be his live donor.
All of this is going to take a huge toll on our lives, and we need any and all support we can get to help him and our family. So we’ve partnered with COTA for assistance with transplant-related expenses.
They say children are our future; let’s give this child the best chance at his.
Here is the link to donate to COTA for Puckett please and thank you, anything helps.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
