Sam returned home on April 26 after 41 days in the hospital for his bone marrow transplant. After weeks monitoring the engraftment process, Sam’s immune system and blood cell counts increased to levels safe enough to be discharged. We are immeasurably grateful for the expertise and dedication of Sam’s medical team. This part of his treatment was a daunting mountain to climb and with the support of his doctors and nurses, Sam reached the summit!

We share this victory with all of you, our family and friends, who blessed us with love, prayers, encouragement, and endless support over the last 8 months. Sam still has a distance to travel on his journey toward complete remission, and we will keep climbing together!
