Sam will complete his second round of chemotherapy tomorrow.
Today, he had a lumbar puncture and bone marrow aspiration to measure the amount of cancer in his body and to determine the next phase of his treatment.
Sam’s bloodwork was stable, kidneys are functioning well and his liver is improving. He is able to continue his treatment at home for another week!
This week Sam had physical therapy to rebuild his strength and reflexology to soothe his body. He even felt strong enough to cook a steak. His first night in the kitchen cooking with Adrienne reminded us of old times.
Next week, Sam will receive oncology massage, will have the chemo pump removed and may attend some public COTA events.
