Over the past few weeks, Sarah has made some truly incredible progress. While I’ve shared updates on social media, I wanted to take a moment to bring everything together here on the blog.
August 20
Sarah transitioned from the ICU to the Intermediate ICU! 💖🙏 This was such an important step in her recovery, and it was made even more special when she received a beautiful blessing from the priest in her new room.
August 25
Our tiny but mighty fighter has been working hard on her head control and tummy time therapy. 💪🏼💗 These exercises may seem small, but they’re huge victories that show her strength and determination growing every day.
September 21
A big milestone, Sarah is officially out of the ICU and no longer requires any respiratory support! 🌸 She even enjoyed her very first ride outside. She will undergo surgery soon to help prepare her to come home.
Each milestone is worth celebrating, and we’re so grateful for every step forward. 💛

¡Sarah pasó de la UCI a la UCI Intermedia! 💖🙏 Este fue un paso importantísimo en su recuperación, y fue aún más especial cuando recibió una hermosa bendición del sacerdote en su nueva habitación.

Nuestra pequeña pero poderosa luchadora ha estado trabajando duro en el control de su cabeza y la terapia boca abajo. 💪🏼💗 Estos ejercicios pueden parecer pequeños, pero son grandes victorias que demuestran que su fuerza y determinación crecen cada día.
21 de Septiembre
¡Un gran logro! Sarah salió oficialmente de la UCI y ya no necesita asistencia respiratoria. 🌸 Incluso disfrutó de su primer paseo al aire libre. Pronto se someterá a una cirugía para prepararla para volver a casa.
Cada logro merece ser celebrado, y estamos muy agradecidos por cada paso adelante. 💛
