We are home from Nashville!!! It was exciting to leave, but already missing Shayli & Sharayah as we were able to spend so much time with them while we were there. Beyond thankful for your many prayers, calls, texts, gifts, meals, visits and other acts of kindness!! Incredibly grateful for a successful transplant…such a miraculous journey seeing both Shafer & Shayli recovering so beautifully🙌🏻 We have loved seeing some of you in Nashville & catching up with others now that we are back. Weekly trips will continue to Vanderbilt as close monitoring continues for several more months. Shayli is doing well and is on course to graduate PA school August 1st👩🏻‍⚕️ It has been so much fun getting to enjoy lots of outdoor activities with Shafer as we have to be especially careful in crowds due to his immunosuppression. What a blessing to have friends with farms & fabulous properties where we can relax & make lots of memories🤠 TEAM SHAFER has truly been the hands and feet of Jesus to us again & again🩵
