I want to shout out a ginormous thank you to Juliana Wissa, Lori Jimenez, Delight Faris, Christina Cassala Peshke & Nancy Delo for their time helping us and volunteering with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association(COTA).

 

When we were introduced to COTA they asked us to find some volunteers to help with fundraising. I was VERY intimidated to ask anyone. Everyone has jobs, family, kids and many other things happening in life. This was a big ask to add another thing to their plate! God has a way of making things work out.

 

Juliana is my campaign manager. She is the first point of contact for all ideas and the lead. The mastermind.

 

Delight is the public relations manager and gives COTA our local news and media resources. That means that the local news and media are aware of our story and they can reach out to talk to us. Interesting right?

 

Lori is my very talented social media/graphics designer guru. She updates the COTA site, designed the tshirt/hoodie logo, creates reels and videos for us.

 

Christina and Nancy helped with the restaurant night at Cafe Zupa’s. They spent hours calling local food places and asking if they do fund raisers, created the flyer and so much more. I learned that restaurant fund raising has a lot of moving parts!

 

I know what I summarized doesn’t do them justice as to what happens behind the scenes. I can’t thank these lovely ladies enough. We know your lives are busy and we appreciate you taking time to help us.
