There are days that go by that I still can’t believe this liver transplant is already behind us!! Sorry for the delayed update- life has been crazy…crazy good!!
Abby had labs on Thursday this past week and God keeps proving His faithfulness over and over again! Her kidney numbers continue to IMPROVE! Her potassium levels are within normal range and her liver numbers are COMPLETELY NORMAL!! We know that these numbers can change, but you guys, this is amazing!! The liver team just keeps telling us that Abby is doing phenomenal!
We will begin a new, complete liquid diet for Abby this week. This is a whole new territory of nutrition for Abby, and if I am being completely honest, I am REALLY nervous! I know her liver is working so well, but new diets for Abby have always been so hard in the past. Please pray with us that she tolerates this transition well and that the increase in proper nutrition will only continue to reap amazing benefits for her!
