Meet Adam, father of Atticus, Star Wars fan, cystic fibrosis warrior and double lung transplant recipient. Above all, Adam is an inspiration to all of us. He has dealt with his illness all of his life with cheerfulness and grace. This past year was particularly difficulty as he entered end stage lung disease. On a particularly difficult day as he was struggling to breathe, he received the life-changing call that lungs were available. On August 4, 2017 Adam received a double lung transplant.
