Tuesday, December 3rd, is important for two reasons:
- It’s #GivingTuesday, a day when lots of people in our nation give to worthy charities (and get that tax deduction for the year).
- It’s Anni Hirtle’s birthday and we believe you would want to know of a way to give to COTA to allow COTA to assist with the expenses her family will bear for her desperately needed kidney transplant.
The great news is, Anni has a kidney donor!! Happy birthday, Anni!! If you would like to hear the story of how her donor, Emma Charlier, has bravely come forward to save Anni’s life, please go to:
Anni and Emma’s Inspiring Story to view the video testimony of both girls at Cole Community Church.
As you make plans to give on this National Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting COTA for Team Anni.
Transplant procedure costs range from $100,000 to more than $800,000. The Hirtle family has joined the Children’s Organ Transplant Association because COTA helps families who are facing a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support.
Area volunteers are raising an estimated $50,000 for COTA in honor of Anni Hirtle. No gift is too small and every dollar matters. Will you give hope to Anni Hirtle and her family on this #GivingTuesday?
Make a life-saving gift to COTA in honor of Team Anni by pressing the “GIVE NOW” button on the right. Or to send a check, please fill out the COTA Check Donation Form in this link and send it with your donation to Children’s Organ Transplant Assn, 2501 West COTA Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403. Please note “Anni Hirtle” in the Memo on your check.
