Betsy’s Birthday Fundraiser for COTA for Team Anni

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to Betsy Hernandez!  Here she is with husband, Frank. It’s time to celebrate all her wonderful contributions to COTA and the support Betsy has been giving her sweet, smart, newly graduated niece, Anni Hirtle.  Anni is doing remarkably well, and her spirits are high after a successful kidney transplant in December. Betsy works hard as Communication Coordinator of this campaign to keep friends, family and contributors informed about Anni’s condition, successful recovery, completion of high school, and plans for college this fall using thank you cards, COTA blogs, and Facebook posts. 

Betsy is very close to Anni and I know she would love to see the Donation Thermometer in this Online COTA Fundraiser rise with more life-saving funds of any amount. To quote Betsy’s most recent blog, “When Anni’s parents have a huge kidney transplant expense or insurance deductible due, it is such a joy to hear the words. “…but it was covered by COTA!”
