Our Story

Hello everyone,

Our daughter Anungoo Chinzorig is a kindhearted 6 year old with a strong will to survive. We live in Bay Area, Ca. She is a true role model for her little brother and he looks up to her.

In the summer of 2020, Anungoo was diagnosed with extremely rare condition of Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome known as HUS. This condition can occur when the small blood vessels in your kidneys become damaged. Due to the damage was too extensive, it caused clots to form in the vessels. The clots clogged the filtering system in her kidneys and led her to kidney failure. As of right now, both her kidneys completely shut down.

In addition to it, her entire body’s small vessels were clotted and prevented oxygen passing through her blood which caused several complications such as, fluid built in her lungs, brain stroke and her small and large intestines partially died. Therefore, she had to go through many surgeries. One of them was to remove 2/3 of her small and large intestine. We spent half a year in ICU at UCSF. With the help of wonderful doctors and nurses, our Anungoo was given a second chance to fight this battle.

There were a lot of uncertainty and she had a very slim chance of survival but here we are at this stage, ready to fight for this next step.

While she is awaiting for her kidney transplant and also, surgery for connecting the remaining small and large intestines, she is on constant dialysis and gets her nutrition through her IV portal for 12 hours a day because she is not able to consume anything through her mouth.

Despite of everything, Anungoo has been positive minded and truly believe that she will get better. We are extremely proud of our daughter who has been showing tremendous strength from her tiny body that no one can imagine. We are truly optimistic that these 2 major surgeries will give Anungoo the freedom to enjoy more life than she’s been able to experience.

We are partnering with The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to raise funds in honor of Anungoo Chinzorig. 100% of the donations raised will be available for a lifetime and will assist with transplant-related expenses, such as treatment, diagnosis, and travel to UCSF hospital in San Francisco, CA where Anungoo’s amazing team of doctors providing great care.

With your help, our family, #teamAnuka, can go through this and save our Anungoo. We deeply appreciate your support of COTA in honor of Team Anuka.
Thank you all so much for the support and prayers for our family. We are incredibly blessed.
