Our Story

Eleven years ago, Baylee Brynn was born with a severe congenital heart defect called dilated cardiomyopathy, which left her heart enlarged and unable to pump blood effectively. After facing renal failure, she was transferred to Seattle Children’s Hospital. On October 12, 2014, Baylee received a life-saving heart transplant, and the family began a long but successful road to recovery.

Now, after 11 years of medical appointments and medication, the financial burden has become overwhelming. To help with ongoing transplant-related expenses, the family has partnered with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA). Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to COTA in honor of #TeamBayleeBrynn today.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
