MEET ISABELLA the daughter of Brenden & Heather Mahoney. Isabella loves tummy time, story time, eating and cat naps. She dreams that one day she will be healthy enough to explore the world without fear of germs and life-threatening infection.

Isabella was born 8 weeks premature at Boston’s Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA on Sept 26, 2018 while her mother was home visiting with her father last year due to his upcoming heart surgery. Isabella spent her first 3 months of life hospitalized where she was diagnosed with an extremely rare immune deficiency requiring a Bone Marrow Transplant. Her diagnosis puts her at high risk of infection due to not having a functioning immune system. Isabella lives in Charleston, SC where she is desperately searching for a perfect 10/10 Bone Marrow Donor for transplant at MUSC Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SC.

Watch her progress and for upcoming Bone Marrow / Fundraiser events.
Please help us reach our goal: COTAforTeamBella.com #BoneMarrowforBella

The estimated cost of Isabella’s transplant exceeds $500,000, with additional costs for post-transplant medication and care. The Mahoney Family will need to raise $50,000 for transplant-related expenses. They have asked the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for help. COTA is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for patients in need of a life-saving transplant. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. 100% of all funds raised are used to cover transplant-related expenses.
