The fundraising goal and campaign name have recently been updated per a conversation between Caleb and Crosby’s family and Rick Lofgren, COTA President & CEO. This letter below from Rick explains the recent change:

Greetings from COTA!

I want to congratulate the COTA for Caleb K volunteer team for raising funds for the campaign in honor of Caleb.

When I set the campaign fundraising goals with all of our families, I try to do so knowing that we want to raise funds for several years. With Crosby’s transplant occurring as well I spoke with Kevin and suggested that we raise the campaign goal to better reflect what I believe is the true long-term expense they will incur in the future. Because of this, I have increased the goal for the campaign and we are also changing the team name to COTA for Team Caleb and Crosby, and the new goal will increase from $40,000 to $60,000 to reflect what I believe will be actual costs going forward.
