Big brother Colten has been struggling through this with mom and dad and seems to be more aware than most 3 year olds. He seems to become more and more attached to us every time we end up in Columbus for a few days. At first, he was not able to visit due to flu season… but now we have found that it’s better for him emotionally to stay with his grandparents, who can give him undivided attention and distract him from what is going on with Caleb. Unfortunately, there are not many places I can take the boys due to doctors orders and Caleb’s lack of immunities. We mostly stick to walks and the backyard. If you have any ideas for fun things Colten could do at home, please share them here! We of course have toys, but appreciate any unique things we have yet to think of, particularly when it comes to outdoor fun in our fenced in yard. We have a basketball hoop and small treehouse/slide out there but not much else. Any ideas… mommy would greatly appreciate!!
