Cali Camille is 10.5 weeks weighing 7 lbs 12.5 oz. and has been on the transplant list for 28 days. She is currently still intubated, IV medications, and sedated. Last Monday we had another scary episode where she was showing signs of breaking with sustained high heart rates and lab levels going in the wrong direction. The CV team quickly made changes with her medication and switched out her sedation . They were worried they were going to have to put her on ECMO but once again, Cali’s body reacted well to the changes and is back to her base line. They have been going back and forth and have decided to stay on course with her current situation. Due to her size, putting her on a mechanical device isn’t the best solution and she shows she is content at the moment. Cali continues to show her strength and sass every day. ❤️
