Update on our lil Cali………… She is doing AMAZING! Within a few hours of respiratory treatments, that lung opened up and is doing great. They started CPAP trials to help her lungs exercise, and she’s doing extremely well. All her breathing support settings are as minimal as could be and they hope to extubate her later this week.

They started feeds (breast milk) yesterday, which so far she is tolerating it well, and actually already pooped! Also, the chest tube and catheter are OUT!!! 🎉🎉 They are still working on weaning the sedation as well as getting the extra fluid off her. Other than that, CALI is killing it!!! She continues to impress the doctors with her resilience and how much of a fighter she is!!

I want to thank everyone who continues to pray for our lil Cali and show your love. We honestly could not have gotten through this mentally without everyone! The prayers are being heard and God is doing his work. 🙌🏼
