Home for Christmas Break

Passed! Cameron finished his college class last week and we went to a follow up transplant appointment yesterday (Monday).  Afterwards, we braved the roads and made it home to Goldendale for the holidays! He is 69 days post-transplant and feeling good.  So far the medication side effects are minimal, his lab work is holding steady and his energy level is greatly improved.  Each appointment we learn more about nutrition and food safety and are becoming experts in pharmaceuticals. It’s definitely good to be home. He is so happy to see family and friends in person! We continue to feel so blessed to have added Alison to our family now as a “blood” relative :-).  I can’t help smiling every time I get a text from her or meet up to visit.  It is a joyful time of year and we are truly touched by this gift from God.

As you celebrate the miracle of this special season, may your hearts too be filled with joy and peace.
