Exodus 15:26 – “For I am the Lord who heals you.”
I haven’t shared about this until now—we needed time to process, gather information, and hold close, what we were facing. But now, it’s time. We need as many prayer warriors as we can get.
Last August, Ethan was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare kidney condition called Dent’s Disease. What started as a hospital stay for something entirely different led to a diagnosis we never expected—especially not as a teenager.
In March, we were referred to MUSC Charleston to meet with their Pediatric Kidney Transplant Team. Since then, we’ve seen many doctors, undergone many tests, and received what seems to be the best plan moving forward: a kidney transplant is on the horizon for Ethan, likely within the next 12 months.

We’ve partnered with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to help raise funds for the many transplant-related costs that lie ahead—especially those not covered by insurance, like travel and extended stays two hours from home.
