It is done…. Franklin has a new heart!! 

The time is now 12:55 am and I have just spoken with the surgeon who did Franklin’s heart transplant. The procedure went very well! He should be coming to his ICU room as I am writing this. I have to wait an hour before I am allowed to see him.

I am about to go see my son after his procedure. Franklin was in the OR almost 11 hours. I will keep everyone posted! My wife and I want to once again thank everyone for their prayers and support!! Franklin is an amazing, tough kid and all indications are that he will do very well.
