We celebrated Jason’s 2nd birthday this month and while it was a small gathering with just family, we ended up outdoing ourselves. Jason won’t remember it, but the pictures and memories will last forever. It was a “two fast” themed birthday because every time Jason is outside and sees cars go by he says “fast car”. 

He is continuing to learn and grow, he knows some shapes and constantly has mommy and daddy draw them in chalk. It is amazing watching his little mind work and how nothing has seemed to set him back. 

We were able to take a month break from having any labs or transplant clinic visits so that has been nice. But also nerve wracking because we also like to know the data from those visits. He seems to be doing well and has no outward signs of his heart or kidneys not working well. He is go, go, go from when he wakes up until when he goes to bed. 

We are so grateful to be able to watch him learn and grow and we love making new memories with him each year.
