For the past 3.5 weeks, teachers and staff from the West Shore School District have been bringing meals to my family to help during this time.  While I was gone for most of them, I have been able to eat them for the last week and they have been delicious.  I want to publically thank all of those who coordinated and contributed to these meals – they have helped out our family SO much.

I am on my way back to CHOP now for another two days of testing.  I have normal clinical visits today (cardiology, EKG, echocardiogram, exercise therapy) and then tomorrow I get another heart catheter and biopsy.  My mom and I get to spend the night at the Gift of Life House again tonight.  I hope that it is safe there now from the rioting and looting…

I should know by tomorrow night when I get home if the fluid around my heart is concerning.
