Day 29 – New Water System at Home

Because I will be immune suppressed to a certain extent for the rest of my life, I won’t ever be able to safely drink (untreated) well water again.  After learning this, my parents began investigating a system for our house that will allow me to drink our water in a few months once I finish a lot of my immune suppression system drugs out of me (mid-August).

Yesterday we had the new system installed.  I want to thank everyone that donated to COTA in my honor as COTA was able to cover the cost of this system.  Thank you!

Below are some pictures – we now do not have hard water, we have a UV light to kill bacteria, and a reverse osmosis system for drinking water.  My brothers and sisters say that the water tastes weird, but I am sure they will get used to it.
