I am writing today’s blog with a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation for what our community of friends, colleagues, co-workers, and neighbors have done for our family! I am so thankful for friends both near and far that are raising money through COTA for Team Ken to help with transplant-related expenses. I literally feel God’s goodness chasing after us. Currently, Ken travels to UNC-Chapel Hill for treatment once a week. Ken is a die-hard NC State fan, and I never thought I’d say “Go Tarheels,” but he’s getting tremendous medical care there! They are incredibly responsive to questions, and act on medical situations quickly. Thank you friends, for your outpouring of love for Ken and our entire family.
