Thumbs up for Ken feeling a bit better. After 48 hours in an ER bed, he was moved to a regular (more comfortable) room/bed last night. In additional to the infection in the fluid in his stomach, he has a strep B infection in his bloodstream. His kidneys were also not functioning at 100%, but as of this morning, that has improved. He was also on infectious disease protocol (which is why I’m all suited up in this photo!) because they saw some respiratory issues, but he’s been cleared from that as well. So, while he’s still having nausea and dizziness, he’s overall on the mend. *Hoping* he will get to come home tomorrow as long as the Strep B clears up. Penicillin is his new best friend for that!
