Happy New Year! It is hard to believe Luke is already 21 months old. Luke loves playing with his new train from Santa, eating strawberries, reading, playing outside, going on wagon rides and bath time. He continues to amaze us every day with his new accomplishments.
Last week was a very busy week of appointments for Luke, mom and dad. On Wednesday, Luke met with his awesome nephrologist Dr. Weaver for his monthly check-up. Luke was so brave during his monthly blood draw. The blood results showed his creatinine went up slightly, but he continues to grow so we will wait for our next appointment in early February to give Luke more time to get bigger and stronger.
Luke’s mom and dad are still being evaluated as donors. On Friday Erin and Jeff had a full day of testing including an EKG, chest x-ray and more bloodwork. More tests are on the horizon.
