This month flew by. It is hard to believe that Luke will be two years old next month! Luke is stilling working on gaining back the weight he lost from being sick last month. He is only 20 lbs and needs to be at least 22 lbs before getting transplanted. This month Luke was discharged from occupational therapy which is a huge accomplishment. Luke has been working with the occupational therapist for over a year and is now meeting or exceeding OT specific milestones. He continues to have weekly speech therapy to work on expressive language. We are enjoying the spring weather here in the Carolinas. Luke loves playing outside and adores his big sister Lilly. Our next nephrology appointment is 4/2 where Luke will have his labs taken and we will discuss next steps with the nephrology/transplant team.
Also this month we launched Luke’s Kidney Crusade page on Facebook. Feel free to like and follow the page for updates on Luke. https://www.facebook.com/lukeskidneycrusade/
