Last week marked the one-year anniversary of Shae’s heart transplant. On Thanksgiving morning, 2022, at 2am, Shae’s new heart began beating! There were still challenges to face: a blood infection, a lung infection & physical therapy. Being the warrior that he is, on Jan 5, 2023, Shae was released from the hospital. He has since embraced life to the fullest. He worked for a little while, has attended concerts with friends, & even dyed his hair! He recently celebrated his 19th birthday with family & friends.
