Down Home Days Festival

Please come out and see us at this years 48th annual Chickamauga Down Home Days festival, sponsored by the Chickamauga Lions Club and the City of Chickamauga. The festival covers virtually the entire downtown area of Chickamauga and features many booths and activities for the entire family to enjoy. The festival includes many arts and craft vendors, food vendors, live music, a kids zone, a local farmers market and much more. Our booth will feature a meet and greet with Trinity and her family, a silent auction and an opportunity to hear Trinity’s story and to learn more about and show support for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association which helps support the financial needs of thousands of children and their families during this difficult journey of a child in need of an organ transplant. The cost of expenses such as travel, food, lodging, monthly bills, co-pays and deductibles, over and above what insurance covers, can be financial devasting to families, especially when one parent must take an extended leave of absence from work to become a full time caretaker for their child, spending often spending many months at a time away from home in the hospitals during the recovery period for the child or young adult transplant recipient. You may help by becoming a COTA for Team Trinity or consider making a donation of items to be auctioned off during the event. We appreciate any and all support and above all, keep Trinity and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time to help a wonderful young lady have a second chance at living a full, productive and happy life!
